IT COUNSELING

OUR SOLUTION-ORIENTED CONSULTING APPROACH

OUR SOLUTION-ORIENTED CONSULTING APPROACH

CGF has been in the market as an IT service provider for over 20 years. Today, we employ over 200 people in six countries worldwide.

  • What differentiates CGF in the market?
  • We are not consultants – we are “counselors”.
  • We use CGF’s own consulting approach “CIO” to create the optimal solution for the customer.

Three qualities characterize the counselor:

1. Counselors listen to the voice of the customer.
2. Counselors think in terms of customer benefits.
3. Counselors create value for the customer.
1. Counselors listen to the voice of the customer.

This means that they do not have a ready-made solution at hand, but listen to the customer’s problem, then work out the customer’s wishes and needs and derive their actions from this.

2. Counselors think in terms of customer benefits.

When implementing the customer’s problem or need, they are completely focused on the benefit their actions bring to the customer.

3. Counselors create value for the customer.

As a result, counselors are completely focused on ultimately creating solutions that fit the customer exactly. For example, they use the “CIO” method.

CGF’S OWN CONSULTING APPROACH: THE CIO METHOD

To generate client solutions, our Counselors use CGF’s own systematic consulting approach: the CIO Method.

Where CIO stands for Counsel, Implement and Optimize. The CIO method is also based on the voice of the client because our counselors want to understand the client’s problem, especially if it seems insurmountable for the client.

Based on this understanding of the problem, Counseling can work out an initial, quick solution. This involves determining whether the solution is a path to the goal, even if the climb is still a bit uncomfortable. If the customer is convinced of the solution approach, an optimized solution is implemented. If it turns out that the solution is often used, the existing solution is automated as far as possible.
